As Belvoir has been a household name for over 37 years among Sydney locals, the aim was to create a timeless, friendly and refreshing new look. It was integral that Belvoir has a modern feel without seeming like it’s an exclusive luxury club, conveying their belief that the theatre is for everyone. This is used to support the notion of the beams of light and is used to highlight and support the work.
Bush Buddy aims to promote local national parks and bush walks within NSW. The aim is to enable young people to use the app. In turn increasing safety for bush walkers and creating higher chances of new people discovering and utilizing bush walks.
This album cover has been made as a limited edition run with XL Records. King Krule, a London based artist and musician, is known for his music as well as a very hands on approach to art and multimedia, especially on his album covers. To emulate his stylistic approach on this album, I followed the path of a hands on process; using collage and drawn elements. When the sleeve of the album is pulled out it reveals that the front cover is a die cut and the album name has actually been printed onto the sleeve underneath.
