Serenity Now is a poster series that represents the constant cycle of life. The graphic illustrations combined with friendly colouring and captions work as a cue for viewers to find tranquility, recognise any misjudgement and re-direct our thinking towards a more positive light. This project was inspired by the concepts of Wabi Sabi, which i explored through the idea of finding pleasure in the imperfection of which is life. These concepts are further enhanced by the rough representations of everyday objects and situations using illustrative textures.
GUSTO is an art and culture magazine in Sydney, Australia. It showcases the underside of the city with the best eats, drinks, workshops, artists, music and small businesses. GUSTO focus' on sharing the stories and work of the local creative community whilst adhering to it's defined aesthetic style.
For this brand refresh project, I developed a dynamic logo to represent the various tiers of the NIDA organisation accompanied by branded stationery collateral. Using this developed visual identity I made a series of posters and a theatre production booklet to advertise upcoming events. The the layout, colouring and illustrations have a fun, happy and inviting feel, enticing theatre lovers anywhere they may be.
Koalarama is a citizen science data collection app focused on helping to save Australia's Koala population. The app provides users knowledge about Koala's and enables them to track and report sightings around Australia. The app is designed to track the koala population and their displacement after destruction of their habitat. Users are provided a profile with all their recorded sightings, with interactive map features to see where other people have reportedly seen Koala's.
